Featured on Quickstar Productiions' "A CALL FOR HEALING":

Quickstar Productions is a company that specializes in designing music-marketing campaigns and supplying digital distribution services for record labels and independent artists.

In 2005, Quickstar Productions released its first Compilation CD as a way to promote unsigned artists. This CD was extraordinarily successful in accomplishing its mission! Over the years the company has built off that success and perfected a marketing plan to maximize exposure for the artist(s).

Based out of Baltimore, Maryland, Quickstar Productions is an active member of the Maryland Better Business Bureau. Children worshipping at the the Nuymbarie Clinic in Uganda.

The original inspiration for this CD came from a mission trip to West Ankole, Uganda that one of the project managers served on in November 2007 -- a Christian medical clinic called the Nuymbarie Clinic.

The clinic was run by one nurse and serves a town of 2,000. It was in need of refrigeration, electricity, clean water, and most importantly, medications. Malaria is a major problem in this area. These medications are very expensive for the Ugandan’s, but reasonable by American standards.

In May 2009, Quickstar Productions released “Unified By Grace, Eastcoast Unplugged Vol. 1” (featuring “The Mission”). The goal of the CD was to raise money to help purchase anti-malarial medicines for this health clinic.

“As Jesus said in Matthew 25, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

“Unified By Grace" was very successful in doing just that! Proceeds from the CD helped to stock the clinic with medication and install solar electricity.

To see pictures of the clinic and the fruits of the donations check out www.StTimsCatonsville.org and look under the “mission/Uganda” section.

Like the “Unified” project, “A Call For Healing” also benefited the clinic in Uganda and beame the primary source of funding for the year, and it was made up of Christian artists of a like sound and skill level.

about

This song is based on the prayer journals of Columbine High martyr Rachel Joy Scott www.rachelschallenge.org.

Pick writes: "I wrote it in 2001 as a prelude to another song of mine, 'Believe In Love.' I began work on the song with producer Johnny J. Blair in Februrary 2002.

“After recording my piano and vocal, I left for a Valentine's Day meet-up and performance at Operation Mobilisation in Atlanta, Georgia where I premiered the song at the morning devotional.

“Blair continued work on the song back in PA, adding backing vocals, acoustic guitar, bells, and Linda Kanski (The Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, Davy Jones, etc.) added an incredible cello part. In April
2009, the song was featured on several Christian and mainstream radio stations in honor of Rachel and the other fallen students -- marking the 10th Memorial of the Columbine High tragedy.
