"Garden View" in Central Pennsylvania was where Michelle and I called home when we were married in 2005. A beautiful wooded area located up a country creek road. It was where these songs had their roots.

The road leading to our home was called "Fieldcrest." It was a peaceful quiet road.

Michelle heard these songs for a long time. I started composing them a year into our marriage. I would play these melodies each night by candlelight before going to bed. In the daytime, during my leisure time, I would be sitting out in the yard reading, drawing, or watching the deer run and play in the meadow.

It was during this time when Michelle and I were living in Garden View that we met Shane & Trina and developed a friendship.

Trina loved gardens, especially her garden.

It was said at her "Celebration of Life" that the only enemies in her life were the thorns in her garden.
