In 2007, I started work on a new project with Jerry Lynn. I had a song about God's creation called "Masterpiece" which I wanted to turn into a full-production concept album with songs about creation and ending with songs taking the focus off of creation and putting them on the creator. Half-way into the project, we put it on hold and started work on a stripped-down EP project which became "Songs In Black & White." Jerre Mohler (who played guitar on "Lancaster") adds a nice Harrison/Clapton guitar sound to this early version of MASTERPIECE. Unfortunately, the album was canned - although this song did make airplay as "teaser" on the Billtown Bus Stop Radio Hour in Williamsport in 2009.
